Pho Toan tdang in Port Coquitlam

3.5 stars. I had Number 68: vermacelli with spring roll, lemon grass chicken, and sugarcane shrimp. Quality was average for Vietnamese food (compared to places on Kingsway in Vancouver). Good sized portions for a reasonable price. The chicken wings were only ok.

i love the food, its awesome and the coffee is way better than Tim Hortons! I love it. I recommend everyone to go here.

Simply Amazing, best Pho in the lower mainland, fresh ingredients, delicately flavoured broth, chilli 🌶 sauce is da bomb great service, clean washrooms. highly recommended!

Great family owned vietnamese restaurant! Substitutions allowed but not needed as this is a repeat favorite with very friendly staff and fair prices.

This place is horrible! First their service wasn't good at all. Then my kid ate there with a friend and they forced the students to give tip like highway robbery. Cmon they are grade 9 students! They forced them to give 20% tip for eating a bowl. Its customary but to force 20% on students that is insane. Please spread the word around. Just like the feedback of other reviewers, be wary of their demeaning attitude. It is a shame they still have customers. After complaining they even told me if customers dont tip to not go back there again. Just a bunch of money grabbers!

This is the absolute best pho restaurant I have ever been too. Best broth, ginger in the chilli oil, very consistent quality and great service.

Excellent food

Good Vietnamese food. Best out of the many located near the Coquitlam Centre. Located near the Costco. Must try.

The setting is attractive, the servers are attentive but i ordered a "beef stew" type dish with rice separately. The stew had lots of soup / gravy but VERY LITTLE beef. I felt ripped off.

Table caddy with spoons, hot sauce & napkins was dirty...not recent grime but was like that for some time. Plastic foliage & flowers very dusty & dirty. Food was just Meh!! I have always thought that if a restaurant is dirty out front that the back ( kitchen area ) is probably in the same condition

The staff is always talking loudly. You can only hear them and it's super annoying. It seems like its a restaurant just for the employees. And when we told them they just laughed. I will never come back here again!

Always used to go to this place even the workers know me and my family. The last time we went i ordered noodles and i got THREE GIANT TOOTHPICKS in between my noodles. i didn’t see until i started mixing it up so i could’ve easily swallowed them without knowing and it would’ve cut my throat. when i told the workers, they didn’t even say sorry and just took it to the back and brought me a new one. didn’t offer any type of deals, or to get it free like most places would. Again, when i was leaving not even a thank you or a sorry. Absolutely disgusting and i could’ve gotten seriously injured from that. Will never be returning again.

Mixed review from my family. My parents did not enjoy much but my brother and I did. Loved their brooth, unlike other place i have been to, taste of soup lasted. (other place had too much msg that my tungue didnt feel any flavor in a min.) I personally really enjoyed them.

Very mediocre. People shouting at each other across the restaurant. Not Veitnamese run as I heard Cantonese. Shrimp paste the worst I have ever had. Chinese fish ball mixture. Will not return recommend you don't go. Spring rolls are not real won ton wrapper and filling very sub par. In short not a real Vietnamese restaurant.

Been coming here since they opened. Always had a good meal. Typical service. Food is good and inexpensive. Always a nice meal on a cold day.

The owners here are so friendly and have a really great singing voice! Food here is superb and authentic. The ultimate testament is that their son hella fat.

Friendly service, never too busy. Love their topical fruit smoothies (mmm durian) but they aren't always available. The pho reliably delicious. They also took a special request from me not to burn or blacken the chicken for one of their rice dishes.

Been here several times, eating a variety of items off the menu and each time I’ve been pleased with the food. The pho broth is tasty, the spicy beef soup is ooomphy, the rice and lemon grass chicken with sunny-side-up egg is well done. Vegetables are fresh and meat is not chewy. Booster/high chairs are available and there’s plenty of seating inside so seldom are you waiting for a table even during the lunch rush. Saw in a couple of other reviews that they rated the service as just being ok, if not poor. In my opinion the service is good, for what this restaurant is all about. It’s a $10-15 meal - other tables are kept clean and within a few seconds of sitting you’re offered tea and a chance to order. Pretty good in my book!

Love coming here for a quick bite. They have your typical pho menu. A large pho is $9.25 and the noodle to meat ratio is good. The broth is nicely seasoned and not too watery or salty. Good service. I would come back again.

Pretty good little spot! Food was great, and fast to arrive. Ambiance was hopeless and haggard, but still worth a visit.

Soup base: decent, how much of it is msg? We'll see after an hour.Portion: large is large, but it's like 95% noodles. I ordered a Pho Tai Gan. Not enough beef and tendons, only got like 3-4 pieces of hard and small tendons.Noodles: decently prepared. Can't mess that up I guess.I wouldn't come here again.

Food was great. But ended giving themselves a 5 dollar tip(not a big deal i suppose) without my knowledge. They just said " tap your card"

I got the #28 (spicy pho) it was ok. Not great not bad. Probably wouldnt come back tho.

Pho soup was so delicious, I could've sipped on it forever. Lots of meat in the large bowl and reasonable prices.

The food is amazing! Their service is quick, efficient and friendly. I've been eating here since they first opened, and they've been consistently good.

No star for their slow service and attitude! But I had to give at least one star. Restaurant was not even busy during lunch time, but I had to wait a while for my tea. The owner told me that I did not leave enough tip. I had a pho and did not even asked for changes. The pho soup had no flavor as if they did not even cook with a broth. Meat portion was generous for the price. The only thing I liked was their fried spring rolls, which was fried just before serving. However, they need some seasoning and not the best Vietnamese spring rolls I have had.
